This project for OlyCAP in Port Townsend was made through community engagement with kids in and after-school program for two entryways of a low income housing complex called 7th Haven. The kids made mosaic sea stars and urchins and helped to paint animals that rely on the Salish Sea kelp forests for their habitat. The kids were ages 6-12.

This project was initiated in May 2022 and completed in April 2023, with the bulk of the physical work taking place over winter and spring 2023.
